Chukwuemeka Okafor from Enugu lost 35kg over 18 months without any surgery or extreme dieting. Here is his story.
"I was 38 years old, 120kg, and my doctor told me I was pre-diabetic," Chukwuemeka recalls. "That was the moment I decided something had to change."
"I started by walking for 30 minutes every morning before work. Just walking. That is all I could manage at first."
After 18 months of consistent training and mindful eating, Chukwuemeka had lost 35kg. His blood sugar levels returned to normal and he ran his first 5K race at age 39.
